Learn About the History of Lounsbury's

Lounsbury Landscaping was started in 1955 by Perry Lounsbury, the father of current owners, Andy & Ben Lounsbury. Andy and Ben started working with their father on landscaping projects in grade school and continued throughout college.

Andy & Ben Lounsbury, both after working in fields related to their engineering degrees returned to Lounsbury Landscaping in 1989. Expansion into sand and gravel mining fulfilled their fathers dream of expanding the landscape supply. Now a third generation has now joined the business.

Lounsbury Landscaping Sand & Gravel prides itself on our quality, tenured employees with combined decades of valuable experience. We are committed to honoring our family tradition in Central Iowa of providing superior results at competitive prices.
